Introduction

Lead Strategy LLC (“Lead Strategy,” “Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it. This Privacy Policy describes the types of information we collect from you, or that you provide, when you visit https://leadstrategy.com (the “Website”) or use any content, functionality, or services offered on or through the Website, and how we collect, use, maintain, protect, and disclose that information.

This policy applies to information we collect on the Website, by email, by text, and through other electronic messages between you and us. It does not apply to information collected by any third party, including through any application or content (including advertising) that may link to or be accessible from the Website.

Please read this policy carefully. By accessing or using the Website, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, your choice is to not use the Website. We may update this policy from time to time, and the “Last updated” date above shows when it was last revised. Your continued use of the Website after we post changes means you accept those changes.

Information for general purposes only

All materials on the Website are provided solely for general informational and educational purposes and do not constitute legal, financial, tax, or other professional advice. Your viewing or use of the materials does not create any professional relationship with us or our partners, associates, or affiliates.

Information we collect

We collect several types of information from and about users of the Website:

Information you provide to us, such as your name, email address, phone number, business name, website URL, mailing address, and any information you submit through forms, surveys, applications, support requests, comments, or when you register, subscribe, or purchase. If you make a purchase, payment information is collected directly by our third-party payment processor, not stored by us.

Information collected automatically, such as your IP address, device and browser type, operating system, language and time-zone settings, pages viewed, links clicked, referring URLs, and other usage data, collected through cookies, web beacons, pixels, and similar technologies. See “Cookies and tracking technologies” below.

Information from third parties, such as our advertising and analytics partners, business partners, and service providers.

By way of summary, the personal information we may collect includes: first and last name; email address; phone number; business name; website URL; mailing address, city, state/province, and ZIP/postal code; information you post on the Website; data about how you use the Website; technical data such as IP address, login data, and browser/device details; your marketing and communication preferences; photographs of you at events; and cookies and usage data.

How we use your information

We use the information we collect to: provide and operate the Website and our services; create and manage your account; process and fulfill orders and payments; provide customer support; send you account, transaction, and service notices; send you marketing communications you have agreed to receive; personalize your experience; conduct analytics and improve our Website and services; run, measure, and optimize advertising, including building and using custom and look-alike audiences; prevent fraud and secure our systems; comply with our legal obligations and enforce our agreements; and for any other purpose disclosed at the time you provide the information or with your consent.

Cookies and tracking technologies

As you navigate the Website, we and our partners use cookies, web beacons, pixels, tags, and local storage (collectively, “cookies”) to collect usage information, remember your preferences, measure performance, and deliver and measure advertising. The cookies we use fall into these categories:

  • Strictly necessary. Required for the Website to function, such as security and remembering your cookie choices. These cannot be switched off.
  • Performance and analytics. Help us understand how visitors use the Website so we can measure and improve it.
  • Functional. Remember choices you make to give you a more personalized experience.
  • Advertising and targeting. Set by us and by advertising partners (including Meta/Facebook, Google, and TikTok) to deliver and measure ads and build audiences. This involves sharing information with those partners and is considered “targeted advertising” and a “sale” or “share” of personal information under several US state privacy laws.

You can opt out of analytics, targeted advertising, and the sale or sharing of personal information through the “Your Privacy Choices” link in our footer, your browser settings, and industry opt-out tools such as the Digital Advertising Alliance (optout.aboutads.info), the Network Advertising Initiative (optout.networkadvertising.org), and your Meta, Google, and TikTok ad settings. We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal: if your browser sends a GPC signal, we treat it as a valid request to opt out of targeted advertising and the sale or sharing of personal information for that browser.

Because there is not yet a common standard for browser “Do Not Track” signals, we do not respond to undefined Do Not Track signals, but we do honor the GPC signal as described above.

Email and text messaging

By submitting your email address, you agree to receive emails from us. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email. We comply with the CAN-SPAM Act and do not send misleading commercial email. We do not sell or rent your email address.

By submitting your mobile phone number and opting in, you consent to receive automated marketing text messages from us at that number. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP. For Canadian recipients, we comply with Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL), including consent, identification, and unsubscribe requirements.

How we share your information

We may share personal information: with service providers and contractors who perform services on our behalf; with advertising and analytics partners as described in “Cookies and tracking technologies” above; with professional advisors; to comply with law, legal process, or government requests; to enforce our agreements and protect our rights, property, and safety and those of others; and in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, in which case we will provide notice before your information becomes subject to a different policy.

We describe our service providers by category rather than by brand so this policy stays current. Categories include: payment processing; email and SMS marketing; customer relationship management (CRM); scheduling and booking; forms and surveys; course/membership and content hosting; website hosting and security; analytics; advertising and audience platforms; and workflow/automation tools. Each provider is permitted to use your information only to perform services for us.

Except as described in this policy, we do not sell your personal information for money. Where US state laws treat targeted advertising as a “sale” or “share,” you may opt out as described in “Your privacy rights” below.

Payments

We use third-party payment processors to process payments. We do not store your full payment card details. Those processors handle your payment information under their own privacy policies and adhere to PCI-DSS standards.

Your privacy rights (US state laws)

Depending on the US state in which you live, you may have some or all of the following rights regarding your personal information:

  • The right to know and access the personal information we have collected about you.
  • The right to correct inaccurate personal information.
  • The right to delete personal information.
  • The right to obtain a portable copy of your personal information.
  • The right to opt out of targeted advertising, the sale of personal information, and the sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
  • The right to opt out of certain profiling.
  • The right to limit the use of sensitive personal information (where applicable).
  • The right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

How to exercise these rights. Submit a request by emailing ops@leadstrategy.com, or use the “Your Privacy Choices” link in our footer to opt out of analytics and advertising. We will verify your identity before responding and will respond within the time required by applicable law. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf, subject to verification.

Global Privacy Control. We treat a valid GPC browser signal as a request to opt out of targeted advertising and the sale or sharing of personal information for that browser or device.

Appeals. If we decline your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision or emailing ops@leadstrategy.com with the subject line “Privacy Appeal.” If we deny your appeal, you may contact your state attorney general.

Your rights (Canada, PIPEDA)

If you are in Canada, you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to request correction of inaccurate information, and to withdraw consent to our use of your personal information, subject to legal and contractual limits. To make a request, contact ops@leadstrategy.com. We handle personal information in accordance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial laws.

Your rights (EEA/UK, where applicable)

If you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, our legal bases for processing your personal information may include performance of a contract, your consent, our legitimate interests (not overridden by your rights), and compliance with law. You have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, and object to processing, and to data portability, and to withdraw consent. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. To exercise these rights, contact ops@leadstrategy.com.

Data retention

We retain personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy, to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Usage data is generally retained for a shorter period unless we need it longer for security, functionality, or legal reasons.

International data transfers

We are based in the United States. If you provide information to us from outside the United States, including from Canada, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction. By providing your information, you consent to this transfer.

Data security

We take commercially reasonable steps to protect your personal information from misuse, loss, and unauthorized access, disclosure, or alteration. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach affecting your personal information occurs, we will notify you and take appropriate steps as required by law. You are responsible for keeping any account password confidential.

The Website is not intended for anyone under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you are under 18, do not use the Website or provide any information to us. If we learn we have collected personal information from someone under 18, we will delete it. If you believe we may have information from a person under 18, email ops@leadstrategy.com.
